1:When did you first take an interest in illustration?

I have drawn and painted since a small child but i suppose i got in to the illustration side of things at college and became obsessed with drawing things in black biro for a while...until i found ink.

2: What/Who inspires you?
Nature, music, art and photography inspire me, so pretty much everything! But my favourite artists who inspire me most are Kit Williams, Joseph cornell and Egon Schiele

3: Is there any particular process you go through to reach your final piece?
Theres no particular process, i just become obsessed with it until it is finished, i can't walk away from something, and if i do then i know i will never finish it!

4: Do you prefer to work to a brief, or just freestyle...or a mixture of the both?
I just do whatever i want to do, working to a brief is just plain annoying. i always end up going off on one about something else completely off the subject and then have to somehow loosely relate it back! If i HAD to work to a brief i wouldn't really have any objections though i guess...

5: What is the soundtrack to your life?
the soundtrack to my life...hmmm. Well, the birds at my window in the morning when i wake up every day. And David Bowie!
